Your wedding is first and foremost the celebration of the Sacrament of Matrimony. It is during this sacred celebration that you will profess your vows to one another, before Almighty God, in the presence of the priest, and before your family and friends. Due to the sacred character of this day, no secular music is permitted. If you have a question regarding the suitability of a particular piece of music for your wedding ceremony, please contact the Director of Liturgical Music prior to filling out this form. Furthermore, no additional musical elements may be added to the liturgy, aside from those provided for in the planning sheet below.
Sound Links/Recordings are provided below to help navigate your choices. There are also some notes about when you might want to consider using a particular piece of music under the Processional and Recessional sections. Attempt to balance the music out by style, flow and character.
