Each year on November 2, the church commemorates the souls of all the Faithful Departed. We remember in a special way on this day at the 5:15 PM Mass, the souls of those parishioners of Saint Peter Cathedral who have passed away within the last year. Mass will begin with the reading of the deceased names and the lighting of a candle in memory of their loved one. We encourage everyone to try and attend this mass.
Even though you may not have lost a loved one this past year, your presence brings great comfort to the families of the deceased.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace. Amen.
