Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Assist with the distribution of the Precious Body and Blood of Jesus. Some Holy Communion Ministers also take Communion to our homebound parishioners.
Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers)
Greet parishioners as they arrive at the Church, collect the offertory and distribute the bulletins at the end of the Liturgy.
Worship Environment Committee
Arrange the Cathedral for the liturgical seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.

Members visit our parish members who are homebound, in nursing homes, or in the hospital. Eucharistic Ministers will take the Eucharist to those who are homebound. Please call our parish secretary at 814 453-6677, Ext. 8, to help or to request a visit.
Days of Caring
Two days set aside when parishioners are asked to visit fellow parishioners who are homebound or in nursing homes to bring them a small gift, cards, and the prayers of the parish community. Members assist with preparations for the Advent Days of Caring and the Lenten Day of Caring. Please watch the bulletin for information regarding dates and times.

Parish Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry provides groceries on two TUESDAY afternoons a month to persons living in the Cathedral neighborhood as defined by the local Second Harvest Food Bank. Distribution is usually the second and last Tuesday of the month from 2:20 PM to 4:20 PM (last client admitted at 4:10 PM). Our Food Pantry is located at the downstairs entrance to the Cathedral on 10th Street. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday afternoons to pick up food from the Food Bank around 1:30 PM and to assist client shoppers on TUESDAY afternoons in accordance with the established schedule.
